Initial Tests Find Lead in Children's Fast-Fashion Clothing
 Fast fashion is appealing for kids, but a preliminary study found that several children's shirts contained lead above U.S. federal limits. The researchers estimate that briefly chewing the fabric could expose young people to dangerous lead levels. They will present their results at ACS Spring 2026.
